Can You Use Free Clip Art to Sell a Product

When you demand clipart for commercial employ in your piece of work you must ensure that y'all accept a commercial license for it which allows you to sell your work which uses that clip art. Yous tin't and mustn't just google images you similar and copy them as this is illegal and very frowned upon in high-sounding communities.

Over the years I take compiled a list of some of my favourite places to buy clipart for commercial utilize from which include a commercial license – though y'all must check each license individually as they tin all vary from creative person to artist and site to site.

I'm as well going to include some of my favourite costless sites below however proceed with caution with these – I personally would not use these in work I intend to sell because at times the origins tin be dubious (i.e. sometimes files get uploaded to these sites by people that don't really accept the permission of the original creative person to publish these – I have seen this happen in Facebook groups a few times!)

Pattern Bundles

I love Blueprint Bundles because they have a massive array of different products – from individual design products, to fonts, to bundles and too weekly freebies (with commercial licenses!!) It'due south probably my favourite go to site when it comes to finding clipart for commercial apply.

Etsy

I always check out etsy when I need some graphics and I have my favourite artists that I buy from again and again . Yous can too go some fab graphics/mockups/presets/themes/svg's – there are many many talented artists that sell on hither. A word of caution though – check out the license for the product yous are interested in – some of them take quite strict license agreements e.g. y'all take to buy an additional commercial license to employ the graphic or one license allows you 500 sales.

The Hungry Jpeg

I also love this site – information technology is very similar to Design Bundles though I think their offering is slightly smaller and the search isn't quite up to scratch yet in my stance. However they have a massive selection of $1 deals (which are a deal!) and a weekly freebie which comes in very handy 🙂

Artistic Market

This site is massive and yous can become graphics, photos, spider web themes and fonts (and many other resources!). They accept a weekly freebie but these don't e'er include a commercial license so go along with circumspection hither. It's a great site though if you are looking for some very particular graphics or bundles.

Adobe Stock

I honey this site but it is non inexpensive – at fourth dimension of writing it is £nineteen.99 per calendar month for 10 assets which makes each nugget roughly £2 – so per asset information technology'south cracking value but I don't find I need that many assets a calendar month so for me it is yet quite pricey;

Again not the cheapest option – you can buy iii credits for £20 (at time of writing); But if you lot are doing a lot of design work so it's worth considering.
